Prior to being assigned to a work location, all new-hire employees attend Cal Dive’s Core Training Program. The Core Training Program introduces employees to:

Employee Training and Career Paths are monitored closely throughout each employees career to ensure that he/she has the necessary skills to perform safely, efficiently and productively. Employees attend annual refresher training to ensure that updates in policy, initiatives and regulations are communicated clearly and in a timely manner. Cal Dive’s commitment to investment in resources is clearly demonstrated as Cal Dive:
- pays for all approved training, both in-house and external vendor training.
- has an established training rate; all employees are paid to attend training.
- has an established training request process to ensure timely responses to training needs.
- has invested in its internal training department allowing employees to participate in meaningful hands on training.
