Mr. Brazda joined Cal Dive in November 2005. Prior to that, he served in various management positions for Helix Energy Solutions Group, Inc. since 1998, including as the Vice President/General Manager of the Shallow Water Diving Division of Shelf Contracting Services, and President of Helix’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Aquatica, Inc. Mr. Brazda has over 30 years experience in the Gulf of Mexico diving and marine construction industry, eighteen of which were in senior management positions with Helix, American Oilfield Divers, Onshore Marine (as owner/CEO) and Baker Marine Corporation. Mr. Brazda has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
Charles Boyle

Mr. Boyle joined Cal Dive as Vice President of Accounting, with Cal Dive's acquisition of Horizon Offshore, Inc. in December 2007. Prior to that Mr. Boyle served in various senior management positions, overseas and domestic, with companies in the oil and gas and related service industries including Prime Energy Offshore Inc. (formerly FW Oil), Odyssea Marine Inc., Mc Dermott International Inc., Offshore Pipelines Inc, Professional Geophysics, Inc (formerly Seis Pros Inc), Fairfield Industries and Geosource Inc. Mr. Boyle studied accountancy at Ealing Polytechnic and The College of West London in England and successfully completed the examinations, level 1 through 3, of The Association of Certified and Corporate Accountants of England and Wales (A.C.C.A.).
William E. Breen

Mr. Breen joined Cal Dive as Vice President – Estimating and Proposals with cal Dive's acquisition of Horizon Offshore, Inc. in December 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Breen served in various management positions for Horizon since 1997, including as the Vice President of Estimating, Sales and Marketing, Vice President of Business Development, Director of International Operations and Project Management and Manager of Projects. Mr. Breen has worked in the international and domestic offshore construction industry since 1991. Prior to employment with Horizon, Mr. Breen held various international operations and project management positions with SOFEC, Inc. and Offshore Pipelines International. Mr. Breen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Jarrard Broussard

Mr. Broussard joined Cal Dive in November 2005 and serves as Vice President of EHS. Prior to this, Mr. Broussard served in various management positions including General Manager of Training, and HR / Training Manager for Stolt Offshore. Prior to that, other positions held by Mr. Broussard in the industry included Jr. Safety Specialist, EHS Coordinator and Training Supervisor. Mr Broussard has a college degree in Occupational Safety & Health Management.
Robert Cheves

Mr. Cheves joined Cal Dive as Vice President – Latin America Operations with Cal Dive's acquisition of Horizon Offshore, Inc. in December 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Cheves served as Vice President of International Operations and Latin America for Horizon. Mr. Cheves has worked in the international marine construction industry since 1977, spending his first nine years offshore in positions ranging from Field Engineer to Derrick/Laybarge Superintendent. Prior to employment with Horizon, Mr. Cheves held various management positions in all aspects of the marine construction industry with Global Industries, Ltd., Hyundai Heavy Industries, Offshore Pipelines International and Raymond Offshore Contractors. Mr. Cheves has an associate degree in Marine Construction Engineering from Cape Fear Tech.
Rebecca G. Gottsegen

Ms. Gottsegen joined Cal Dive in January 2009 and serves as Vice President of Corporate Human Resources. Previously she was a partner in the Labor and Employment law section of the Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrere & Denegre law firm. Ms. Gottsegen has over 16 years experience in labor and employment law and has taught labor law at Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, where she received her Juris Doctor degree in 1993. Ms. Gottsegen also received her undergraduate degree from Loyola University.
Jon Minshall

Mr. Minshall joined Cal Dive with Cal Dive's acquisition of Horizon Offshore, Inc. in December 2007. In May 2011, Mr. Minshall was appointed Vice President - West Africa. Mr. Minshall's previous experience includes horizontal directional drilling, onshore pipeline construction and civil engineering construction in the following positions: Senior Vice President of Horizontal Drilling International, Inc. (HDI) from 1999 to 2002, Project Manager for the Alfred McAlpine Pipelines (UK) / Preussag Wasser und Rohrtechnik (Germany) Joint Venture from 1998 to 1999, Project Manager for A. Hak Pipelines (Netherlands) from 1997 to 1998, Quantity Surveyor and Contracts Manager for Wrenco (Contractors) Ltd. (UK) from 1990 to 1997 and Quantity Surveyor for Capper Pipe Services (UK) at the Shell Stanlow Oil Refinery from 1989 to 1990. Mr. Minshall has a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying from Liverpool John Moores University.
John Mooney

Mr. Mooney has served as our Vice President–Commercial since may 2010 and joined Cal Dive in December 2006. Prior to that he worked for Helix Energy Solutions Group, Inc. from January 2001 until December 2006, after serving Helix in a consulting role since May 1999. Mr. Mooney has been in the diving industry since 1982 and, prior to joining Helix, he served in various management positions from project director to saturation diving superintendent for McDermott Underwater Services, Offshore Pipelines Limited and Fraser Diving. Mr. Mooney studied Mechanical Engineering at North East Technical Collage, England, UK.
Allan Palmer

Mr. Palmer joined Cal Dive in November 2005. Mr. Palmer has been in the commercial diving industry since 1974, spending the first twenty years in offshore positions ranging from Dive Tender to Diving Superintendent at American Oilfield Divers (AOD) and Stolt Offshore. Onshore positions since 1994 include management roles in the area of Operations, Equipment and Assets, Facilities and Project Management. He attended the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY and is a member of the Project Management Institute, the Historical Diving Society and is the current Chairman of the IMCA Americas Deepwater Diving Subgroup.
Troy Pierce

Business Development and Marketing
Mr. Pierce
joined Cal Dive in August 2008 and serves as our Vice President –
Corporate Business Development & Marketing. Prior to this Mr.
Pierce served as our Vice President of Environment, Health and Safety.
Prior to that, he served as a Senior Associate for JMJ Associates, a
consulting firm specializing in Enterprise Transformation with an
emphasis on Leadership Development, since 2006. Prior to that, Mr.
Pierce served as HSE Manager for Jacobs Engineering for multiple
international major capital projects. Mr. Pierce attended LA Tech and
Northeast Louisiana University.
Ike Smith

Mr. Smith joined Cal Dive as Vice President – Finance in April 2012. He has served in various finance and accounting positions in the oilfield services industry since 2002, most recently serving as Vice President & Controller of Key Energy Services. Prior to joining Key Energy Services, Mr. Smith was with Horizon Offshore until 2007, serving as its Corporate Controller. He began his career in 1998 in public accounting in the audit practice of Arthur Andersen. Mr. Smith graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BBA in Accounting and is a certified public accountant.
Travis Trahan

Training and Quality
Mr. Trahan joined Cal Dive in November 2005 and serves as Vice President of Training and Quality. Prior to this, Mr. Trahan served in various management positions including General Manager of Offshore Resources and Training for Helix Energy Solutions Group, Operations/HR Manager for Aquatica, Inc., and General Manager of Diving Operations for Aquatica, Inc. Prior to that, other positions held by Mr. Trahan in the diving industry included Safety Manager, Operations Coordinator and Commercial Diver with American Oilfield Divers. Mr. Trahan attended two years of Professional Development with the American Society of Safety Engineers.
